Teh Welcome Post.

First off, let me just greet you (whoever you are) a great big welcome! You have stumbled upon a really boring blog. Haha, kidding. "Teh Reel Me" is officially my second attempt to use blogger.com as a place for my blogging itch. The first time was okay, but it turned out really emotional. If you search some words (e.g. bitch, cunt, daughter) together with some girl's name -- it would definitely lead to my blog. Which sucks, believe me.
So, anyway. Welcome to this new incarnation of my madd blogging skillz, yo! I'm just bored as hell this summer, really. So, since they told us in Mowelfund that we should keep a journal or whatever of the experiences that we're gonna go through; I figured that maybe I should start another blog. Thus, leading to "Teh Reel Me." My livejournal is still active, by the way. The link is somewhere there in my sidebar links. I've reformatted my livejournal blogging experience. I will only blog stuff that includes my emotional roller-coaster life, my interests in music and literature. Anything about films, television and mowelfund would instantly fall under this blog.
What I do here is to post experiences from scriptwriting classes from TEH MASTER, Sir Nick Deocampo. I'd also post up anything that might interest me be it film news or television news. At times, I would post my own reviews of films that I've recently watched on cinemas or on dbd's. There are certain television shows that I am watching, I am certain that they'd pop up once in a while when I'm really feeling the energy of the series.
Do tag once in a while, I know you love me. Sorry for the konyotic chever. I'm trying to enhance my second language thus, I shall post in english. But I'f i'm really konyotic, I'd do the konyo lingo or straight tagalog -- depends on my mood.
Okay, I think that's a pretty good introduction. My first day starts in a couple of hours. I have classes during M and Th. Film screenings on Wed. and Film Seminars on Sat. So, in between those days, when I'm not hanging in the mall or listening to my emo records. I'll keep you posted. Thanks man.

Teh Reel Me
Teh Reel Me is my attempt to keep teh memories from the scriptwriting workshop in Mowelfund that I am currently attending. This is also where I will keep reviews of films and television series that I'm gonna watch over the course of this stupid-ass boring summer.
Basically this is where all my Film and Television blurbs and rants are. My
livejournal will be housing my music, literature and emotional blurbs.
Teh Blogboy.
Hello, My name is Shinji. Yes, that is my real name. Apparently, I was named by my father's friend in Japan who was also named "Shinji" because of the fact that he is japanese. I live somewhere in Muntinlupa. Graduated grade school in a nice quiet Catholic School. I turned evil when I went to high school at Muntinlupa Science High School. Right now, I'm enrolled at the University of the Philippines - Los Banos as a BS Nutrition undergraduate student. Because of UP, I am now the next antichrist and I would probably plant a bomb somewhere. Kidding. But for this summer, I'll be juggling classes at the Mowelfund Scriptwriting Workshop and seeking my way into UP Diliman or Manila [or find a way to remain in Elbi's warmth forever.]
I'm a big cinemaphile and a couch potato. Whatever that means. I used to sing in a band, but we decided to call it quits before we played on a gig. I get addicted to things like buying pirated DBD's and collecting orignal CD's or Chuck Palahniuk books.
Someday, I am going to be a filmmaker.
I swear to God, I will.
Teh Films.
I basically watch anything I could get my hands into. I'm a big fan of cheesy pinoy movies or anything that's really slapstick. I can tolerate Sam Milby's irritating smile, as long as he falls in love with someone before the movie ends. I love film noir. Humphrey Bogart makes you want to live your life in black and white. Casablanca is my favorite romantic film. I <3 everything Quentin Tarantino makes, the man's a genius. I try to watch tagalog films from the 70's, whenever they're on cable. I tend to appreciate what others don't in terms of films. I laugh at decapitated heads and mutilated faces. I'm quiet when I'm alone in a cinema, but I'm really pumped when someone's with me. Cult films are the best.
I tend to look idiotic when I'm framing the world using my two hands. Or when my eyes zoom in and out or pan left to right.
Teh Boob Tube.
Honestly, I'm a couch potato. I can spend hours in front of the television, my dvd player or my computer just watching these shows. I used to watch a lot of telenovelas, but because I can't tolerate commercials I don't do it anymore. Thanks to ABS transferring their telenovelas into DVDs, I can watch them now without commercials. A Lot of shows belong to my DVD collection. I <3 teen dramas. 24. Sitcoms. Heroes! and Judy Ann-Piolo extravaganza. Reality shows, I try to watch them every week.
